At Artesanal Custom Ironworks, we strive to create unique custom high-end steel and iron doors at an affordable price with as little turnaround time as possible. We specialize in one-of-a-kind doors that are custom-made to fit your project. By partnering with skilled artisans, we can bring the best design per your job requirements. We are highly skilled in designing, coordinating, and manufacturing modern and contemporary steel and iron doors and windows. We also manufacture iron bifold doors, iron bifold windows, iron sliding doors, iron fixed and casement windows, iron barn doors, and custom steel and ironwork.

Our doors are unique to fit every project. Custom doors eliminate the high cost of retrofitting door and window openings to accommodate a door that does not fit right and takes months to import on a shipping container. Many of our competitors either do not have the skill or experience to provide a quality product promptly or the correct crews to install the product.

Our doors

We take pride in manufacturing our doors with top-quality products. Every door and window gets tested to make sure it operates properly. Our doors and windows offer many upgrades already included in the price that our competitors will charge extra. Here are some, but not all, of what our Custom Iron doors and Iron Windows offer.

12 or 14-gauge steel construction. Each has its benefit depending on the build.
Thresholds are built into our door frames and insulated with polyurethane foam insulation.
Jambs (door frames) are insulated with polyurethane foam insulation.
All Exterior Doors are provided with weather stripping.
Roller catches come standard with all push and pull handle setups. Roller catches act as a locking mechanism and set screws to adjust the tension.
Low-e and tempered glass

Flushbolt lever system installed on all double doors for inactive door operation.
We offer thermally broken units if requested. Be careful when shopping; proper thermal broken doors and windows does not mean an insulated door and jambs.
We offer operable glass doors and screens.
Heavy-duty barrel hinges installed on all our doors.
Doors are painted with an automotive primer and paint to protect them from the elements.

Our Work Process

One of our project managers will contact you to determine your needs and requirements for each project. The basic steps involved are similar for every project and listed below.

InterviewWe will take as much time as needed for you to express your ideas and wishes. We are here to help you make your dreams a reality. We will also work on setting expectations on design, using our design ideas, or bringing your own.
Rough MeasurementsWe can measure your project, or you can provide rough measurements. These will be preliminary measurements for quoting purposes.
Written EstimateA written estimate will be provided in person, by email, or by text, or we would love to set a meeting with you and your builder to discuss the estimate, scope of work, and job requirements.
Initial Deposit and Design WorkTo commence design and manufacture work 60 percent deposit will be required. Artesanal Custom Iron Works will provide Autocad Drawings for your review and sign-off.
ProductionApproved drawings for your new door or window will enter into manufacturing.
The CommunicationProject manager will routinely update you on progress, set up and coordinate crews, and order any required hardware, locks, etc.
Final Deposit and Installation DayOn or before the installation day, the remaining 40 percent of the cost reflected on the invoice will be collected. A professional installation group will deliver and install your doors and windows if requested. Our installers are highly skilled installers of steel/iron doors and windows, and we do not recommend you do this independently. You can also deliver the doors to the job site for your contractor or builder to install.
